Free Chlamydia Tests for 24 years and under
If you have ever been sexually active it is very important to take a test for Chlamydia.
Chlamydia is an infection that can have no symptoms initially but can lead to very serious complications like infertility and arthritis.
If identified early the treatment is simple, one lot of antibiotics will stop the progression to more serious consequences.
Please collect a kit from the Health Centre.
Make sure all your details are on the form and the bottle and then return to Health Centre reception.
For other age groups – please make an appointment with the Practice Nurse.

Private Services
Non-urgent advice: The Health Centre is first and foremost an NHS Surgery.
The NHS does not cover certain types of service such as medical certificates, private medical reports and examinations, some travel vaccinations, completion of some certificates and forms etc. These activities are chargeable, a copy of our current Private Charges is available on our website and Health Centre waiting room.
Requests to arrange tests or investigations to work or study abroad is outside the scope of NHS primary medical services, patients will need to find a Private GP to carry out these tests.
Home Visits
If you are genuinely too ill to visit the Health Centre, please contact us before 10:30am for a home visit.
Please consider carefully before requesting a home visit as most problems are best dealt with at the surgery and you will usually be seen sooner.
