SEXUAL HEALTH RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS
There are a number of alternative health resources for students available in Coventry. All these services are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL:-
DOCTORS - your GP practice can provide condoms, contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and sexual health advice.
ONE STOP SHOP - for condoms. available to young people aged 14-25 - 10 Greyfriars Road - tel 024 76 60 79 00 SEE MAP
Sexual Health Clinic at the One Stop Shop on Thursdays 3.00pm - 5.00pm for advice and contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, pregnancy couselling and sexual health advice - call 024 76 60 79 33 SEE MAP
SHARC Clinic (Sexual Health and Reproductive Care Clinic) previously known as the Womens Health and Information Clinic (WHIC)at 25 Warwick Road, Coventry (Tel: 024 76 96 13 00) provide condoms, contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, pregnancy couselling and sexual health advice - open daily Mon- Fri 8.30am - 7.30pm (4.30pm Fridays) SEE MAP
GUM Clinic (Genito-Urinary Medicine/Sexual Health Clinic) provides condoms, testing and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections, counselling and testing for HIV, sexual health advice, care and suport for people with HIV/Aids, their family and friends For appointments call 024 76 84 4163 - to cancel an appointment call 024 76 84 4164. The clinic is situated in Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital - on Stoney Stanton Road - follow signs to the Path Lab. SEE MAP
BPAS (British Pregnancy Advisory Service) provide condoms, contraception, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing, termination of pregnancy, pregnancy counselling and sexual health advice - open Mon-Fri 10am - 2.30pm, Wed 5pm - 6.45pm amd Saturday 10-1.45pm.
